The assignment was simple, and the third one of this series that I’ve done for Everfest/Fest300: capture portraits of Sundance attendees, volunteers and staff in various respects to the festival to give us a sense of Sundance through their eyes.

Sundance Film Festival 2018 for Everfest/Fest300
I shot these images at Sundance 2018 to use for an evergreen piece I pitched and wrote for Everfest/Fest300. The piece was about how to do Sundance on a very limited budget. I focused on using the festival’s free public transit, sharing inexpensive hotel rooms and hostels, volunteering for the festival and taking advantage of Sundance’s vast sponsors offering free food and drink.

TriBeCa premiere of FLOWER (2017)
I was hired by the producers of the film FLOWER to shoot red carpet photos, the introduction, Q&A and the after-party for the TriBeCa premiere screening.

Saudi Film Days (2016)
I was the in-house photographer for the first-ever Saudi Film Days. I was responsible for covering all aspects of the festival: red carpets, Q&A’s, the screenings and opening night party.
The images were featured on numerous websites, including a spread in the Hollywood Reporter in both print and online.

Brooklyn Film Festival (2016)
I worked as an in-house photographer for the festival and was tasked with shooting the opening night party, the awards ceremony and the after-party.
